18th Century Aubusson Verdure Tapestry with Tree
An 18th-century Aubusson handwoven verdure tapestry featuring a lush woodland scene with a central tree standing tall in rich shades of deep blue, forest green, and soft beige. The detailed border is intricately woven with flowers, birds and foliage.
- Size: approx. 288x145cm; please note that given the handwoven nature, the size varies up to a few centimeters depending on where it is measured.
- Please reference photos for condition; as this piece is over 200 years old, there is wear consistent with age as well as restorations. More recently, the tapestry has been backed with velcro added for hanging.
