Antique French Verdure Tapestry with Hellebores
We adore this antique French verdure tapestry, so much so it was hard not to keep for ourselves! Featuring tones of deep blues, mossy olives and browns and soft ivory, this piece is exquisitely hand-woven depicting foliage and a bounty of hellebores. The hellebores was often used as a symbol of hope and rebirth, telling the story of life enduring through winter and signaling the spring to come. A versatile size for many spaces makes it even more special.
Size: ~213x112cm; please note that given the handwoven nature, the size varies up to a few centimeters depending on where it is measured.
