A 19th-century Aubusson tapestry in mellow tones of sand, warm browns and dusty rose, featuring a long-tailed bird perched in a woodland scene. This large tapestry is quite the showstopper, featuring a floral border with intricately hand-woven details.
-Size: ~310x175cm; please note that given the handwoven nature, the size varies up to a few centimeters depending on where it is measured.
- Please reference photos for condition and hanging mechanism; as this piece is over 100 years old, there is wear consistent with age. We had this piece professionally restored, adding reinforcement stitching where needed, lightly spot cleaning and refinishing the back.
